Virtual presentations, exhibits, finds, unique original marble bowls, a museum shop, media room with film screening, viewing tower, an area with archaeological finds, workshops.<\/p>\n

In Aguntum an impressive picture of the culture and civilisation of the Roman era in the Alps awaits. Clothing, reliefs, ceramics, jewellery, coins etc.<\/p>\n

The observation tower<\/strong>
\nThe Aguntum excavation area provides numerous attractions, all of which you can see from the observation tower, including the artisan district.<\/p>\n

The Atriumhaus<\/strong>
\nA building like this one has never been seen so far north of Pompeii, in the Alps. Aguntum\u2019s Atriumhaus is unique!<\/p>\n

The thermal spa<\/strong>
\nA wonderful achievement of Roman civilisation – the thermal spa. It is also evident here that the Aguntine population were prosperous.<\/p>\n

The city wall
\n<\/strong>The impressive city wall runs from north to south and has a main gate and several side gates. The wall is 2.45 m thick and has been reconstructed to a height of 5-6 metres.<\/p>\n

The focal point is the large marble basin, moved from the garden of the atrium house to the new building. Finds from Aguntum are arranged around the basin, and there are additions with replicas from other find sites, in order to portray as impressive a picture as possible of the culture and civilisation of the Roman era in the Alps.<\/p>\n

On show are life-sized dolls dressed in clothing worn by the Romans and the local population, examples of Roman reliefs from Aguntum and from other areas in the province of Noricum, where an attempt has been made to intimate again the original colourfulness, profane and sacred inscriptions, Roman international trading, a road map from the late antiquity, a Roman pantheon, imported and locally produced ceramics, amphora, jewellery, brooches, lamps, coins, a male bronze made from fragments, tools and machines, building components, mosaics and murals etc.<\/p>\n
