The Hohe Tauern provides a first-rate stomping ground for all sorts of \u2018vertical\u2019 adventures. Via ferrata routes in den Hohe Tauern<\/h3>\n

Totally secure rock faces<\/strong> and fantastic conditions<\/strong> for sports level climbing are what make the via ferrata routes in the Hohe Tauern National Park stand out. Danielsberg in M\u00f6lltal has a fantastic climbing course with 30 routes, ranging from difficulty levels IV – IX<\/strong>. In the Arthur-von-Schmidhaus climbing centre there are even up to 50 routes ranging in difficulty levels of between III – IX. Adventure-packed climbing on the Hochalmspitze<\/h3>\n

The elegantly proportioned Hochalmspitze has rightly been described as being the \u2018Tauernk\u00f6nigin<\/strong>\u2019. Detmolder Grat<\/strong> is a challenging, yet very rewarding route to the impressive summit. The tour requires via ferrata experience too, with speedy, safe movements in rocky terrain, with difficulty levels of up to Grad I-II. Walking on snow and firn fields<\/strong> should not present any difficulty either, not to mention a good helping of endurance to get to this fantastic summit. Via ferrata routes \u2013 Vertical for everyone<\/h3>\n

In the last few years, no other Alpine sport has enjoyed such high popularity as via ferrata<\/strong>. Yet many people underestimate the fact that \u201cvia ferratas\u201d are Alpine areas, where knowledge and experience are key elements. On the S\u00e4uleck S\u00fcdwand Steig<\/strong> we get straight to the nitty gritty with its D and E sections. The practice via ferrata routes<\/strong> in the Arthur-von-Schmidhaus climbing centre and at the Rei\u00dfeck-H\u00fctte are easier.<\/p>\n

The M\u00f6llschlucht<\/strong> via ferrata route near Heiligenblut provides a via ferrata route which has C & D sections<\/strong>, proceeding along the \u201cWild Water\u201d of the M\u00f6ll, through an impressive ravine. The Pirknerklamm in Drautal<\/strong> offers a superb, not too difficult via ferrata, which has easy-going C sections. The passage at the Regenbogenfall<\/strong> is a highlight, where you climb directly above the thundering masses of water. Indoor climbing \u2013 fun for all ages<\/h3>\n

At the gateway to the M\u00f6lltal and to the Hohe Tauern National Park region \u2013 right on the B106 \u2013 is M\u00fchldorf climbing hall<\/strong>. As one of the biggest climbing halls in Carinthia, M\u00fchldorf climbing hall is a climbing paradise spanning more than 1250m\u00b2<\/strong> and over 110 routes. 5 self-protection units ensure that it is not just experts that are well catered for, so too are newcomers and those who have an interest in climbing. In the colourfully designed children\u2019s fun area<\/strong> even the littlest children get to familiarise themselves with climbing in a fun way and play out their natural desire to get moving.
\nThe adjoining Bistro<\/strong> which has a sun terrace invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. M\u00fchldorf climbing hall provides an extensive range of courses, workshops and events (for instance children\u2019s birthdays and company events).<\/p>\n
