Grossglockner Bergbahnen Heiligenblut
The Schareck (2600 m) is a lofty Tauern summit with panoramic views to the Großglockner and 40 other three-thousand metre mountains in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
You don’t have to exert yourself too much to get a summit photo at the picturesque summit cross.
After all, with the Heiligenblut-Schareck cable car you get to skip right up to just beneath the summit and feel like you are on cloud nine. From the mountain station an easy to negotiate hiking trail takes you right up to the summit cross where there are informative panoramic signboards. An easy mountain conquest awaits – complete with breath-taking panoramic views.
